Bag Policy

CLEAR BAG POLICY ONLY - UPDATED 12.9.25.png

Guests will be able to carry the following style and size bag into the venue:

  • Clear bags that are plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 12” x 6”
  • Any wallet or small purse that does not exceed 6.5” x 4.5” x 1.5”
    • An exception will be made for diaper and medical bags.
    • If you're unsure if your bag qualifies, please opt for a clear bag or no bag instead.
  • Large bags or backpacks, regardless of size, are not permitted.

Cash-to-Card

To increase efficiency with concessions sales and enhance customer experience, ExtraMile Arena will only accept credit/debit cards, phone payment apps, and prepaid debit cards. All ATMs have been removed. Reverse ATMs have been added to convert cash to prepaid debit cards at no cost to patrons.

Tickets

Everyone through the door, regardless of age, requires a ticket.

With mobile ticket delivery, your phone is your ticket

Use the following steps to access the information on your phone before getting to the Arena to ensure you are prepared to present your tickets at the entry.

  1. Download the Ticketmaster app and sign in.
  2. Tap "My Events" to locate your order and view your tickets.
  3. To get in, you'll simply scan your ticket right from your phone.

Mobile Ticket Tips:

  • Your barcode includes technology to protect it so screenshots will NOT be accepted at entry.  
  • View your tickets before you go so they are loaded into the TM App, a timesaver if cell service is slow on the day of the event.

Elevators

Elevators are located at Entries 1 and 2.

Floor Access

If you are seated on the floor or continental sections, please use Entry 3 for access.

Screening

For your safety, all guests entering the Arena are subject to a magnetometer screening, visual inspection and/or bag inspection conducted by Arena security personnel. Refusal to agree to the search may result in non-admittance. Prohibited items include anything that can be deemed a threat to public safety regardless of permit. In the event that prohibited items are revealed during a search, guests may either return the item to their vehicle or the item will be confiscated. Confiscated items will be disposed of and not returned.

In order to keep guests safe and reduce unnecessary touchpoints, the following items are prohibited:

  • Weapons of any kind or items that could be used as a weapon (Leatherman, knives, brass knuckles, metal chains, sharp metal objects, pepper sprays, bullets, etc.)
  • Non-clear bags larger than 6.5" x 4.5" x 1.5" and backpacks of any size
  • Fireworks / Pyrotechnics of any kind 
  • Laser pointers, glow sticks, or flashbulbs
  • iPads, Google Glass, Selfie-sticks, Laptops, Drones, Video/Audio Recorders
  • Outside food & beverage (cans, bottles, coolers, alcohol, etc.) 
  • Artificial noise-makers (such as air horns, cowbells, etc.)
  • Wrapped packages
  • Objects that can be used as projectiles
  • Unapproved pamphlets, handouts, signs, banners, etc.
  • Animals (Exception: recognized service animals under titles II and III of the ADA)
  • Unauthorized chemicals
  • Beach Balls, Skateboards, roller blades, roller shoes
  • Any and all items/controlled substances that are illegal at the city, county, State, and/or Federal level or deemed suspicious due to quantity or uniqueness
  • Any other item deemed by security to be inappropriate for the event or a threat to public safety

Parking lots open at 5:00pm.
Pre-paid parking is SOLD OUT for this event.
Day-of parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you do not have pre-paid parking, please avoid using Myrtle St to Broadway Ave to access University. Check out the alternate routes in the drop downs below.

In order to get everyone parked and in the building in a timely and efficient manner, head to the arena with ample time for any traffic incidents or parking backups.

ADA Parking

Accessible spaces are filled on a first-come basis so please plan accordingly. A free event shuttle that will accommodate patrons with accessible needs will be available to ExtraMile Arena.

Parking spaces designed to accommodate guests with accessible needs are available. Accessible parking is available in the West Stadium lot located on the corner of University Dr. and Bronco Circle. Additional spaces may be available in the East Stadium Lot located on the corner of University Dr. and Grant Ave. and the Lincoln Garage at Belmont Street and Lincoln.

Accessible parking spaces are designated for vehicles displaying a current state-issued accessible placard or license plate.

Directions

Below you'll find different suggested routes to the arena based on whether you have Pre-paid Parking or Day-of Parking. To help us alleviate traffic and congestion, please try to use one of these routes to your parking destination.

Chinden Blvd Eastbound to ExtraMile Arena

Pre-paid & VIP Parking: Take Chinden blvd to the Connector and follow Myrtle St to turn right on to Broadway Ave. Take a right on Ceasar Chavez Lane to the West Stadium lot or take a right on University to the East Stadium lot. 

I84 Westbound to ExtraMile Arena

Pre-paid & VIP Parking: Take Broadway Ave – Exit #54, proceed North on Broadway Ave. Turn West on University Dr. for arena/stadium lots.

Day-of Parking: Turn West on Beacon St. then turn North on Lincoln Ave. for the Lincoln Parking Garage or any other day-of parking lots.

I84 Eastbound to ExtraMile Arena

Pre-Paid & VIP Parking: Take Vista Ave. Exit #54, proceed North on Vista Ave. Turn East on University and turn left on Bronco Lane to access stadium lots.

Day-Of Parking: After heading North on Vista Ave, turn East on University to the Lincoln Garage or other Day-Of Parking lots.

From the Connector:

Pre-Paid & VIP Parking: Take Myrtle St. to 9th St. Turn right on 9th St to University. Follow University to turn left on Bronco Lane to access the stadium lots.

Day-of Parking: From 9th St, follow University to the Lincoln Garage or any of the other Day-of Parking lots.

State Street Eastbound to ExtraMile Arena

Pre-paid & VIP Parking: Take State Street down and take the first exit off of the roundabout at St. Luke's Hospital. Follow Broadway Ave and turn right on Ceasar Chavez Lane to the East Stadium Lot (Premium & VIP) or turn right on University to the West Stadium lot (Standard).

Day-Of Parking: Take State Street to 9th St. Follow 9th St to Boise State University and turn left on University. From University, take either your immediate right on to Boise Ave to Beacon or follow University to the Lincoln Garage or other Day-of parking lots.

Rideshare Pick-up/Drop-off Zone

A designated rideshare zone is located on Belmont St between Denver and Euclid. Please instruct your rideshare driver to drop-off and pick-up in and near that zone, not at the arena, Bronco Circle, or any of the stadium lots.

Shuttles

A free shuttle will run for 1.5 hours both pre and post-show. The shuttle will run between lots, delivering patrons to the Arena pre-show and back to the lots post-show.

Golf carts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis as demand allows to assist patrons with accessible needs to and from arena entries to the parking lots. If you need golf cart assistance and are unable to locate one, one may not be available at that moment. Please see any available arena staff and they will be happy to assist you.

ExtraMile Arena provides a full range of accommodations for guests with accessible needs. If you have a request that you do not see addressed below, or would just like to speak with our staff, please call (208) 426-1900.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking is available in the West and East Stadium Lots, as well as Lincoln Garage on an event-by-event basis. It is highly recommended that guests with accessible needs pre-purchase designated parking along with their ticket purchase. These spaces, including van-accessible spaces, are designated for vehicles displaying a current state-issued disability placard or license plate. Accessible spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis so please plan accordingly. Please refer to the Parking section of this website for maps, directions, and more information.

For our accessible patrons' parking in the Lincoln Garage, a shuttle will be available from the Lincoln Garage to a drop-off point outside the arena (on Bronco Circle or Cesar Chavez Ln). Accessible Seating

Seating for guests with accessible needs and guests in wheelchairs is available on all levels of the arena. Accessible seating is available for purchase at the ExtraMile Arena Box Office, by calling 208-426-1766, online at www.ticketmaster.com. When ordering tickets to accommodate an accessibility issue, it is important to indicate that you require accessible seating so we can properly assist you.

Accessible Seating Platforms are now available on the Parquet, Mezzanine and Balcony levels. These platforms vary in size, and can accomodate accessible guests and up to 2 companions per space. Platform seating is available for purchase for commercial events, and available on a first-come, first-served basis for non-ticketed events. You can inquire for more information and how to purchase in these areas by calling our Box Office: (208) 426-1766.

The Arena reserves the right to address fraudulent purchases or requests for accessible seats to the extent provided by law. ADA ticket fraud includes, but is not limited to, the misrepresentation of a disability. Management reserves the right to take appropriate action regarding misrepresentation, which may result in relocation or revocation of tickets, ejection or forfeiture of payment on your seats.

Assisted Listening Devices (ALD)

A limited number of complimentary Assistive Listening Devices are available for hearing-impaired guests at all ExtraMile Arena events. Please contact one of our Guest Services Associates as you enter the building.

When checking out a device, guests will be required to leave valid identification such, as a driver’s license, as collateral. Availability is based on first come requests.

Concessions

All concessions stands are equipped with an accessible service counter. Concessions staff will make necessary adjustments in selling procedures to accommodate accessible needs of our guests, as well as assist in comprehending the menu.

Elevators

Elevators are available at Entrances 1 and 2 that access all public levels of the facility. The elevator at Entrance 1 accesses all levels, and the elevator at Entrance 2 accesses the Parquet and Mezzanine levels, not the Balcony.

Should you require special assistance in reaching your seat, please contact us in advance or see any Guest Service staff member during the event.

Emergency Evacuation Procedures

ExtraMile Arena personnel have been properly trained in emergency evacuation procedures to ensure the safe evacuation of all patrons, including those guests with disabilities, in the case of an emergency. Pay close attention to instructions from Guest Services Associates.

Nursing Mother's Room

A dedicated, updated lactation room is available for those who require a more private location in which to feed or pump during events.

Location: Ground level in the hallway between Lobby 3 and Lobby 4 on the West side of the Arena.

If you need additional assistance, please ask the nearest arena staff member or representative and they'd be happy to help.

The room meets Federal and Idaho state requirements and is available for use.

Restrooms

All restrooms facilities at ExtraMile Arena are designed to accommodate patrons with accessible needs.

Sensory Room + Sensory Kits

In partnership with KultureCity, ExtraMile Arena is proud to be the first Certified Sensory Inclusive College Arena in the United States.

Location: Ground level in Lobby 3 on the West side of the Arena.

ExtraMile Arena is also equipped with complimentary Sensory Kits complete with: noise-canceling headphones, fidget toys, a weighted lap pad and a verbal cue card.

A guest in need of a Sensory Kit can request one from any of our Guest Services staff; that staff member will retrieve the bag. When checking out a bag, guests will be required to leave valid identification such as a driver’s license, as collateral. Availability is based on first come requests.

For assistance with the Sensory Room or Sensory Kits, please ask the nearest arena staff member or representative and they'd be happy to help.

Service Animals / Guide Dogs

Animals or pets of any kind are prohibited in ExtraMile Arena with the exception of trained service animals and service animals in training for guests with disabilities. Service animals are welcome inside the venue but must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. Service animals will rest in the seating area of the individual with a disability, rather than in the aisle. A guest whose service animal poses a threat to the safety of other ExtraMile Arena guests and employees may be asked to escort the animal off the premises.

Wheelchair & Accessible Seating Policy

Accessible Seating Platforms are now available on the Parquet, Mezzanine and Balcony levels. These platforms vary in size, and can accomodate accessible guests and up to 2 companions per space. Platform seating is available for purchase for entertainment events, and available on a first-come, first-served basis for non-ticketed events. 

Accessible seating is reserved exclusively for patrons with accessible needs and their companions. Patrons purchasing accessible seating may purchase one (1) accessible seat and three (3) companion seats adjacent to the accessible seat. Depending upon availability, seats for additional guests will be located as close as possible to the accessible space. This policy ensures that we are able to accommodate all those that need accessible seating.

ExtraMile Arena is committed to working with patrons on a case-by-case basis to adequately accommodate individual needs. All ticket sales and exchanges are on a first-come/call, first-serve basis and will depend on ticket availability. There is no guarantee that any companion tickets will remain unsold and available.

Wheelchair Escorts

Guest Services staff wheelchair escorts are available at any entry point for transportation to and from seating areas.  As it is important that Arena wheelchairs remain available to escort all guests that request this assistance, please work with staff if you need help in finding accessible seating if nto purchased at the time of the event.

Wheelchair Storage

For guests who wish to transfer to a seat from their wheelchair, we will store your wheelchair in a secure location. Our staff will make arrangements to return the wheelchair to you at the end of the event, or any other time you would prefer.
